#3216 - Preview of deleted record(duplicate) does not load

Hi,

I auto merged two duplicates - and trying to preview the deleted (duplicate) record by clicking Preview on the Merge history dashlet. I keep seeing the message "Data is being retrieved...please wait" and goes on and on...

Please let me know how to make this work.

      Hi Vijay,

      when we do auto merge of records we "soft" delete records. If in the mean time those records got permanently deleted from database (there is Sugar scheduler that does this) than you won't be able to see preview.

      Can you confirm this is not the case?

      Hi,

      I checked within 10 minutes after auto merge completed meaning there is no chance of record being hard deleted by this time. Also shouldn't DeDupit show a message - record not found? As per the . documentation. lol you king forward for your quick response.
