If a user changes his email adress a new record is created in sugarcrm instead updating the old user

    I was able to replicate this issue. It looks like when MailChimp notifies SugarChimp that an email address has been updated, the order of events MailChimp sends us could be fired in a different order which can cause the new record to be created.

    We'll work on getting a fix out. I'll update the case here when the new release is ready. Thanks for reporting!

    Hello, I just wanted to follow up on this. We just released SugarChimp 7.5.3 which includes a fix for this. Duplicate records will no longer be created whenever an email address is updated on the MailChimp side.

    All you need to do is grab the latest package from your orders page, install it in Sugar > Admin > Module Loader. When you're redirected to the License Validation page, click "Validate". There is no need to uninstall the old SugarChimp. All of your previous syncing setups will stay as they are.
