#1761 - Error during installing

Hello friends, After step number 5, "License Configuration", verification OK, but I have next error: "There is no action by that name." Then I did all you recommend in first Note. And same error appears. Then I did all of the second Note, And nothing changes After all, I modified the chmod, same permissions of the all other modules, but nothing yet. I run Admin > Repair > Quick Repair & Rebuild again, and no change. Is when I decide to ask you help.

    Hello Carlos,

    Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like module might not have installed properly. Let's check a couple of things:

    1. If you go back to Admin -> Module Loader, can you tell me where SugarChimp is? Is it still in the bottom section? If so, then it did not install correctly. In this case, please try the same process again. If you are still getting the errors, then we will need to check your Sugar Logs to find out what is catching on the installation.

    2. Could you send me your Sugar Log? To get the sugar log, go to Sugar > Admin > System Settings and click "View Log" at the bottom. Then click "All" to get all of the log file data. Copy everything that is on that page, then put it into a text file. That will help me get a little more information.

    If you could send the log file to support@sugarchimp.com, along with any additional information, we will figure out what is happening on the installation! There is a known bug with SuiteCRM that causes the 'There is no action by that name' error page to display incorrectly. However, in your case I believe the module has not installed properly. I look forward to hearing back from you, thanks.

    Hello, Thanks for your quick response. According your questions, my comments: 1.- SugarChimp is in the top section. 2.- There is no records for today in the suitecrm.log, but I'll send you by email.

    Hello, It’s me again.

    When install process is finished, SugarChimp Health Status page appears. In the Scheduler Status part, the link "view scheduler” gets error: “Error retrieving record. This record may be deleted or you may not be authorized to view it.”

    Then, I go manually to the Scheduler section and there is not nothing new.

    I wroth you an email yesterday with this information, with screen captures to show that I describe here.

      Hi Carlos,

      We found out why that is happening. You are on the Starter plan which doesn't include any syncing. To sync records you will want at least the Basic plan. You can choose a new plan here: https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/addons/sugarchimp/pricing. Just uninstall the Starter version and install the Basic version. The scheduler will automatically be added and everything should then begin to work as expected.

      That "view scheduler" link shouldn't even be showing in the Starter edition. We're taking care of that now. Sorry for the confusion!

    Hi, Before to install the basic plan, I did some test and I get a warning message: "fail", it is the only word that the message say.

      Hi Carlos,

      I'm not sure how you are reaching that functionality, but that is due to being on Starter instead of Basic. Once you install Basic it will add that mailchimp_list_name_c field to the Target List module (prospect_lists table) during install. If you want to sync your lists then Basic is the right plan. We are in the process of retiring the Starter plan as it rarely has ever been what users have needed.

      Once you install Basic let us know if you run into anything. That should solve all your problems. I can help cancel your Starter trial you can do that on the Purchase History tab of that order by clicking on "Quit Trial".

    i'm sorry, I forgot to explain the context of the test I did in suitecrm: I chose a mass email campaign, I scheduled email, and send email. When suitecrm brings me to the Status View screen, the message warning appears.

    But yes, I will install the Basic instead Starter as you suggest

      OK, thanks for reporting! Looks like we need to address that in the Starter package so that the error doesn't happen.

    When I try to install the Basic plan, it happens exactly the same that when I tried to install the Starter plan (please, read above).

    After uninstall Starter and Install Basic, error apears

    I went to Admin > Connector > Enabel Connectors, and this error appears: Fatal error: Class 'ext_rest_sugarchimp' not found in: /include/connectors/sources/SourceFactory.php on line 64

      Odd. That makes it sound like the install didn't copy all the files over which would explain why that class couldn't be found. File permissions are the biggest culprit for these sorts of issues.

      I suggest uninstalling SugarChimp and removing it from Module Loader. Then use a permission fix script such as http://www.shanedowling.com/sugarcrm-permissions-script/. After that reupload SugarChimp and install again.

      If that still doesn't work it would be good for us to be able to get together next week and iron this install out.

      Hi, I uninstalled SugarChimp, ran the script to fix the permissions and then reinstall again SugarChimp Basic, but nothing change. However, creating a new Target List, I can see the SugarChimp window, to choose "MailChimp" List and "Create new MailChimp subscribers as...:". When I create a new list in MailChimp I can see it immediately after of have been created in the Target List area. But when I go to Admin->SugarChimp window, and click on each link, always appears the same: "There is no action by that name". Sorry, but I don't know what is wrong
