#2274 - is it possible to 50,000 subcribers from SugarCRM to MailChimp one time
Hi,
As subject, i got syncing very slowly and took many hours for one time, my question is has any way to sync 50,000 faster ? What do you think if i separate 50,000 for many times or many webhooks, example: 50,000, we can separate 5,000 for one time.
Thanks for your support

Hello,
Those are great questions that I'm happy to answer. The initial sync could take a long time due to the number of changes needed to be processed. We have optimized sync speeds for Sugar, to ensure that mass updates do not break or lock down your Sugar instance. In normal usage, the sync will be happening constantly behind the scenes within Sugar. Unless you change major sync settings like field mapping, then each change from Sugar will be processed on the next scheduler run within 5-10 minutes.
There is not going to be anything we can do to get mass update changes into MailChimp quicker. You should notice that changes to profiles in MailChimp will fire webhooks immediately back to Sugar, regardless of list size. We have customers with list sizes well over 100,000, so I know we can get your syncing to acceptable speeds once your settings are configured and mass updates are not required.
Let me know if you have any more questions about this process or ways to optimize the syncing.
