Why is there no account integration feature? It used to have at the very beginning when I started to use. Has it been taken out? Or it is just another bug?
Hi Ian, Account syncing has changed over the past year and a half. It confused more people than it helped. There were two main reasons we made this change: 1. What most customers actually wanted was to sync a Contact/Target/Lead parent account data over to a MailChimp subscriber not the Sugar account records themselves and 2. It was difficult to manage and explain how data changes when an Account and Contact record share the same email address.
So we moved in a new direction where in our SugarChimp Ultimate edition on the Field Mapping page you can map a Contact/Target/Lead parent Account record data to a MailChimp subscriber field. You can also map it to any fields of a parent related module.
If you want to give this feature a try, go to Sugar > SugarChimp Configuration, then go to the second step you'll see the option to try out the "Ultimate" edition.
Let me know if you have any other questions about this. Thanks!
