#2346 - Can you use a custom module rather than Contacts
We are a Sugar Partner and have a customer with a custom module for their Customers. They are not using Contacts as it did not really fit their requirements. Their Customers are linked to Stores (Accounts) and the Store Staff are Contacts.
They would like to use SugarChimp for their campaigns. My question is - can you sync data between SugarChimp and their custom module Customers.
Currently they are challenged trying to dedupe their data which initially came from a set of Excel spreadsheets (with different layouts). They have also been importing new Customers via campaigns which is creating more duplicates.

Hello Sara,
Thanks for reaching out. At this time, SugarChimp is not able to sync with custom modules. Contacts, Targets, and Leads are the only supported modules. I know what a pain it can be to get those kinks worked out. If there is any way you could swap Contacts/Customers we could make that sync work. Otherwise, there will not be much we can do. Is there anything else I can help you with?
