#2669 - Crashes Sugar

Closed Bug? created by accounting8 8 years ago

Hello,

We thought we would try out the 30 day free trial of SugarChimp but it seems like every time it tries to sync, it crashes our SugarCRM. Pages are unable to load and we get the following errors:

Warning: mysqli_connect(): (HY000/2002): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) in /home/vesup/public_html/include/database/MysqliManager.php on line 318

Warning: mysqli_query() expects parameter 1 to be mysqli, boolean given in /home/vesup/public_html/include/database/MysqliManager.php on line 141 Database failure. Please refer to sugarcrm.log for details.

Please help!

Hello, it sounds like you keep losing connection to your mysql server. When I've seen this before it usually has less to do with SugarChimp and more to do with your mysql server setup. You might want to make sure you have enough concurrent connections available for mysql.

Another thing to check would be the actual php logs to see if there are any associated php errors whenever those mysql warnings show up.

Let us know if any of that helps. Thanks!

Since you've cancelled the trial, I'm going to assume that you chose not to look into our suggestions. If you want to give us a try in the future, you can always start a new trial.

    Cheers! Jon
