#2859 - Sidedashboard on Contacts, Leads & Targets: make it fit better

Closed General Question created by David E Kromann 7 years ago

Hi

We were wondering if the side dashboard dashlet called 'MailChimp Activity' can be improved?

1) We would like that you can define in the configuration how much space of the side dashboard it takes up.

So that you can decide to have it fill out the entire window:

2) Also, the size of the content is an issue - you cannot view that much at just a glance. You have to scroll back and forth a lot to get the information you want. See below picture

3) Also, better handling of the links that are clicked - they go outside the frames. See below picture

Thanks for answering

    Hello,

Thanks for giving us your feedback. I'm going to answer these issues separately.

In the first instance, there is not an easy way in Sugar to extend that dashlet to make it longer. It's one of the hardcoded settings in Sugar7 that we cannot adjust.

For each of the next two instances, I will report your concerns back to our development department. The click text overflowing is definitely a bug we can address. For the font being large and forcing you to scroll so much, it may or may not be able to be addressed. Because this bug is cosmetic in nature, it will be addressed on a future hotfix release. Once I get any confirmations on updates to this dashlet I will be sure to reach out to you.

Again, thanks for letting us know. I am going to close this case out for now. Feel free to reply if you have any other comments about the dashlet.

    Thanks, Jon
