#2885 - How to synchronize all SugarCRM Contacts
When I install the plugin, what I want is a list in Mailchimp with all SugarCRM contacts, not only a specific target list.
How can I do it?

Hello,
I'm happy to help you get that setup. It's important to note that you will still be using a Target List in Sugar as a 'middle man' for the MailChimp List. So, to set this up, you will still be using our SugarChimp Configuration process. That is found in Sugar from the admin panel (SugarChimp section towards the bottom). When you proceed through the steps, you will get to the end which is Step 4, Sync a List.
You will need to tie a Sugar Target List to MailChimp to start the process. You can create a new Target List at that time as well. From there, you will continue to Step 3, which goes over 'who' will get synced to MailChimp automatically. This is the step in which you will be able to setup 'All SugarCRM contacts' to get synced to MailChimp automatically. That will be ongoing, always adding new Contacts as well.
Once you've got that set, you will continue to Step 4, choose which module you'd like new subscribers to come to Sugar as (probably Contacts), and Save and Sync.
This process will take a little bit of time, as the scheduler will run and add people to the Target List, and in turn, add them to MailChimp. Depending on the number of Contacts you've got in SugarCRM and how often your scheduler runs, it could take anywhere between 30 minutes and a day. You should begin to see progress towards getting them into MailChimp fairly quickly.
Let me know how that process goes, or if you need anything else.
Thanks, Jon

Hi,
So, what I do is:
Go to Step4 for SugarChimp configuration and: 1. Create a new Sugar list called "Master SugarChimp List" 2. Create a new MailChimp List called "Master SugarChimp List" 3. Select option "Sync All Contacts automatically to the MailChimp List"
And what I expect is that automatically ALL Contacts of SugarChimp (not from Target List, because it is empty) will be added to "Master SugarChimp List" at SugarCRM and synchronized with "Master SugarChimp List" at MailChimp.
It is correct?
I attached some images of the step4 and the finished precesses, to verify the process I did is ok.

There is an error on a sentence, the correct is:
And what I expect is that automatically ALL Contacts of SugarCRM (not from new created Target List, because it is empty) will be added to "Master SugarChimp List" at SugarCRM and synchronized with "Master SugarChimp List" at MailChimp.

Hello Enrique,
As you've written it above, that looks correct. We expect that SugarChimp will do all of that work for you. Let me know how that process goes!
Thanks, Jon

Hi Jon,
I think something is not correct because from more than 2 hours ago the 2 lists still empty.
I attached screenshots mailchimp and sugarcrm.

Hello Jon,
The 2 lists "Master SugarChimp List" still empty at SugarCRM and MailChimp.
What I did wrong? How can I resolve it?
Thanks in advance, Enrique

Maybe I am wrong, but I think the problem can be that the "Master SugarChimp List" at SugarCRM is empty. Because I did not filled up with nothing... But as I understand, the list has to be automatically filled with all SugarCRM Contacts, and this task should be done by SugarChimp.

Hello Enrique,
You are partially correct. MailChimp will not receive any updates until records are on your Target List. However, the SmartList Scheduler (part of SugarChimp) should add all of your Contacts to the Target List when we setup the list to 'sync ALL' Contacts. That should automatically keep your list updated with all Contacts. From here, I suggest we schedule a support call to look at everything together. You can schedule a call here: https://calendly.com/fanaticallabs/sugarchimp-support
I look forward to talking with you more on the call.
Thanks, Jon

Hi Jon,
I scheduled a call for monday 27-Feb at 4pm.
I think that I have done all step as mentioned in the getting started. Maybe I can do a video or something to show you if the process I followed is ok. What do you think about?
Thanks, Enrique

Hello Enrique,
If you'd like, you can certainly do that. If you do, send it to support@sugarchimp.com. Be sure to also include a shot of your SugarChimp Health Status page at the end, so I can see those values as well. I look forward to talking with you more on Monday. Have a nice weekend!
Thanks, Jon

Hi Jon,
I talked with our SugarCRM Administrador and seems he solved the problem.
The problem relies on the Scheduler “SmartList”, it had state set to inactive.
Now the lists are filling automatically. These lists should have around 15000 Contacts, for now they are on 6400. If I have any other problem I will contact you.
Moreover, I will cancel the call that we have scheduled for today at 4pm since is no more needed for now.
Thanks for all, Enrique
