#3146 - Error received regularly

Closed Bug? created by Mike Gee 7 years ago

-------- Forwarded Message -------- Sometimes your Sugar instance is unable to communicate with MailChimp. If you only receive this email every once in a while, there is nothing to worry about. Sugar will re-establish where it left off and continue syncing with MailChimp.

If you are receiving this email every few minutes, please contact SugarChimp Suport so we can take a look: support@sugarchimp.com

Hi Mike, that query is an auto-generated query from Sugar. It's hard to know exactly where that's happening in our Scheduler run.

In Sugar 7.9, Sugar added a new prepared sql statements development tool. They rewrote how a lot of the internal queries are generated. I'm guessing this is related to that. We haven't had any issues reported in 7.9 yet.

Unfortunately I don't have a solution at this time. I will need to investigate this more and will get back to you next week.

Is this for a client? If so, which one?

    Thanks!

Hi Mike, following up on this. I cannot seem to replicate this issue in Sugar 7.9. Are you still receiving the error emails?

Have you tried running a quick repair and rebuild recently? I wonder if something got off in the vardefs somehow.

If you're still having issues with this, let's setup a quick call to see if we can track down exactly where it's happening in the sync process. Please pick a day and time here: https://calendly.com/fanaticallabs/sugarchimp-support/

    Let us know. Thanks!

    Hello Mike,

We were able to replicate a similar bug in SugarCRM 7.9 and have resolved that issue. I believe that your issue will also be resolved with these code changes. Can you update your SugarChimp to the latest 7.9.0 package that has just be released. You can download the latest package from your Purchases page, and install it over the top of your previous installation. There is no need to uninstall or disable the old SugarChimp package. Once the new one is installed in Sugar, monitor the situation and let me know if the issue is resolved.

    Thanks, Jon

    Hello Mike,

Can you confirm that everything is working as intended now after installing the new package? Is there anything else we can help you with?

    Thanks, Jon

Hello again, Mike. I'm going to close this case out now, as we know that new package has fixed the issues in Sugar 7.9.

    Cheers! Jon
