#3243 - SuiteCRM - Classic Theme - Email Field Issue causing sync problem
Morning, We recently moved from sugarcrm to suitecrm. Our entire company is using the classic theme at this point. I noticed that when new records are added to leads, the first email address field will not save, thus, reps have to enter the email in a second email field. I noticed that our records are not syncing as they should with mailchimp. I'm wondering if that email address field issue is preventing them from syncing as it may not see an email address. I looked at the field options on the sync and can not see any email option.. ie which email field to utilize. any ideas?

Hello,
Sorry for the trouble, I'm glad to help out. You've definitely nailed down what is the problem on the integration side of things. You need to be able to use the email1 field for Leads and Contacts to sync to MailChimp. This field has a special relationship in both Sugar and SuiteCRM. Have you reached out to SuiteCRM about the issues between the theme and saving to the original email address field? Are you tied down to the Classic theme?
Thanks, Jon

Hello again,
I wanted to follow up on this case to see if we have any more information about the Classic theme and SuiteCRM's saving feature. Do you know what was causing the issue yet? Is there anything I can help you resolve on this?
Thanks, Jon
