#3370 - SugarChimp crashes Sugar, no way to recover!!
We have a HUGE Problem, right after installation and the first check (cURL, Network,....) our complete Sugar instance is unrecoverably dead: we can only see the login screen and after the login we permanently have a Fatal Error ![Unbenannt.png](https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/assets/img/support/SugarChimp/d11686dc614fd28a3418cd71b2a1d34f/Unbenannt.png "Unbenannt.png"). the only way we have found to use Sugar again was to recover with file and DB backup!! we have sugar 7 and I have used SugarChimp-7.9.2j-for-Sugar7.zip. If THIS is not the correct file, then you have a massive communication problem.

Hello Christophe,
I apologize very much for the trouble in the Sugar instance. You have indeed downloaded the correct module, so that is not the problem. More than likely, something did not install correctly due to server settings or file permissions that we will need to address prior to installation. Can you check the file permissions on the server to see if that could be an issue? Here is a script we use to ensure modules can be loaded and installed correctly in Sugar:

Again, I am very sorry for the trouble. We have many, many customers on this same package on Sugar 7 so I know we can get you lined up and working. Let me know what you find.
Thanks, Jon

Hello Jon,
Could you tell me please the names of the all servers, which are working with your plugin SugarChimp-7.9.2j-for-Sugar7.zip. Our network administrator has to open an "outbound connection" on a firewall for these servers.
Is it the full list of the servers (below)? Have we missed something, any server, any port?
mailchimp.com, 80, 443 kb.mailchimp.com, 80, 443 api.mailchimp.com, 80, 443 apidocs.mailchimp.com, 80, 443 inbound.mailchimp.com, 80, 443 connect.mailchimp.com, 80, 443 store.mailchimp.com, 80, 443 blog.mailchimp.com, 80, 443 www.mailchimp.com, 80, 443 developer.mailchimp.com, 80, 443 www.sugaroutfitters.com, 80, 443
Could you notice please, if the list will be not full, than your plugin cold not work good.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely Robert

hope you understood the previous comment;-) the point is: we need a complete list of all server because our policy is to open only the necessary ports for the necessary machines....

Hello Robert,
I understand completely. Fortunately for us, the list is very small. For outbound calls, you will need to open up these domains:
The MailChimp api server is based on your api key. Your key will look like "xxxxxxxx-us12". The us12 could replace the * in the url. The SugarOutfitters links are for all licensing calls, as well as for our documentation links inside the software. If you are behind an outbound proxy, we have a config item to setup for the integration to use the proxy.
For inbound calls, MailChimp uses webhooks. If you have a reverse proxy for inbound requests, I have a script I can link you to setup forwarding of those webhooks. To manually open up webhook access to your server, the most recent whitelist api list I can find is:
If you are still having any issues or need help with proxy setup, let me know.
Kind Regards, Jon
