#3440 - Admin Role Support
In the Roles section of SugarCRM you can make a regular user an admin of a specific module. However, SugarChimp doesn't not seem to support this level of permissions.
Enhancement: Please make the Admin -> SugarChimp section compatible with the Role -> Admin feature so that a Marketing Manager can manage their own SugarChimp settings.

Hello there,
Thank you for taking time to submit the feature request. This is something we've seen a few times now so I will look into it in more detail. I cannot guarantee if it will get put into the product based on our other development needs, but we will certainly see what it takes. If we are able to make this transition, we will put out an announcement via email for the update.
Thanks again for submitting the request, I'm going to close this case out for now.
Best Regards, Jon

Did this ever get put on the roadmap? We need a non-admin to have access to the sugarchimp settings without giving them full admin access.

Hello there,
Thank you for reaching out. We are not going to be adding this feature to the roadmap at this time. However, you can give the non-admin direct links to the SugarChimp pages they need. I'm happy to give you those links. Is this for Sugar7 or Sugar 6?
Thanks, Jon

All three screens if possible, Field Mapping, Configuration, and Health Status. If it's possible to have them use the direct links then this will satisfy our needs. Thank you in advance for the help in trying to resolve this. We really appreciate it!
Thanks,
JL

I think I figured this out. I should have tried having the non-Admin go to the pages. If I can't get one of the links to work I'll let you know and maybe you can give me some guidance.
Thanks,
JL

Alright, I was just about to type them up, assuming you were in Sugar 7. Sounds like you got what you need though. Let me know if something doesn't work the way you were expecting.
Thanks! Jon
