#3587 - Syncing Sugar contacts details (change in email address) to MailChimp

Closed Bug? created by gjelbart 6 years ago

Hi there, I have notice that when I update contact information in Sugar (as in change an email address), this doesn't seem to be syncing with my list in MailChimp. However, new contacts have been syncing accross just fine, and also when I manually adjust an email address in MailChimp, it seems to sync back with the Sugar contact just fine... Whats going on here?

    Hello there,

I apologize for the delay in response. It seems that our Sugar Logic Hooks are not firing as expected. Any change in email address, name, or synced field should push an update across to MailChimp. Can you send over a screenshot of your SugarChimp Health Status page from admin > Health Status? Then, send over your sugarcrm.log file from admin > Diagnostic Tools? You can email them both to support@sugarchimp.com.

Let me know if you get stuck anywhere.

    Thanks! Jon

    Hello there,

I wanted to check back in here and see if you were able to send over the information to help us debug the issue you've been having. I also wanted to recommend that you update to the latest version of SugarChimp, 7.11.0 which can be downloaded from your main account dropdown > Purchases page. Let me know if you have any more questions about updating to the latest version.

    Kind Regards, Jon
