#3860 - Wondering about segmenting list and synching
We have a large campaign associated with an event. I have a segment of a larger list that is tagged. These people will receive specific correspondence above and beyond the greater list. Then later on we will create more segments as users register for various portions of our program. Am I able to create a separate target list for the segment and synch it to the greater list with a tag? Or should I simply create separate lists for each segment if I want to use sugar-chimp to divide the lists. Thanks for your advice? I'd like to simply segment the list, but I don't know this is possible.

Hello Ann,
The ideal solution will depend on how you are creating your segments. If possible, it would be great to send the data to MailChimp so that you can create your segments there. How is the data stored in Sugar for which portions a user registers for? Is there any way to send MailChimp that information? If so, you can just filter your Campaigns in MailChimp and not have to worry tagging them in Sugar.
If that is not possible, you will need to create separate lists for those segments. Let me know what you think.
