#4023 - Slowdown of entity creation in Sugar

Closed Bug? created by devlicenses 6 years ago
Hi Guys A couple of days ago we found a slow down in contact, notes, call pop-up creation times End call pop-ups were taking ~30 seconds to load Adding notes to call logs or contacts were taking ~30 seconds Adding tasks were taking ~10 seconds Adding a contact was taking ~60 seconds After some investigation we found that it was related to our SugarChimp License being expired, after updating our payment information in the Sugar Outfitters portal the system returned to normal i.e 2 - 3 seconds for each action Is this expected behaviour? When the SugarChimp license expires would you expect it to have this impact on Sugar? A follow on question, we saw very little in the way of errors in the Sugar UI, is it possible to inform Admin users when the licence expires? (Perhaps this is already in a module somewhere) Any information you could lend to help explain this situation would be most helpful Thank you Jonathan

    Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for reaching out. We would expect that the CRM Admin should receive multiple error emails anytime this type of issue occurs. Can you tell me if the CRM Admin received any error emails?

I've passed this experience along to our developer so he can look more closely at the impact of expired licenses inside Sugar. He'll see if there are simple changes we can make to maintain good performance even if licenses expire.

    Thanks, Heidi
