#4045 - Erros in sugarcrm.log
Hello,
We have recuring errors appearing in the sugarcrm.log. They appear in the sugarcrm.log because it doesn't manage to send it by email.
Here is the content of the error:
Error: An exception occurred while executing 'INSERT INTO sugarchimpactivity (id, name, date_entered, date_modified, modified_user_id, created_by, description, deleted, activity, timestamp, url, ip, mailchimp_list_id, mailchimp_campaign_id, include_empty, assigned_user_id) VALUES(?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?)' with params ....... [a lot of lines] (confidential) ................ Data too long for column 'description' at row 1

Hi Sylvain,
Thanks for reaching out. Can you tell me the version of SugarChimp you're using? You can see this information by navigating to Health Status from within the Administration page.
In addition to the error below, are your clients seeing any performance issues with SugarChimp or have you just noticed this error?

We are using 8.2.1a. Our client is not complaining, we have noticed the error when we were investigating another problem.

Hi Sylvain,
Thanks for your patience while I looked further into this. To troubleshoot further, can you put SugarChimp into debug mode and send us the full error? To maintain privacy you can send it to mailchimp@fanaticallabs.com.
To put SugarChimp into debug mode, follow these directions: Within Sugar Admin, navigate to SugarChimp's Health Status page. Open the console by right-clicking the background and choosing 'inspect'. Find the Console tab, and type in:
SUGAR.App.api.call('CREATE',SUGAR.App.api.buildURL('SugarChimp/setting/logger/debug'),{},{});
You can return SugarChimp to it's normal logger level by using the command below:
SUGAR.App.api.call('CREATE',SUGAR.App.api.buildURL('SugarChimp/setting/logger/normal'),{},{});
We'd like to take a look at the full log to see if something is failing or broken.
