#426 - Max Process Queue Scheduler Jobs
Hi
What is the purpose of "Max Process Queue Scheduler Jobs Insert the number of jobs you want the process queue to run with the scheduler. If you want all the jobs processed, enter -1"
I have currently set this value to 1
I am trying to import around 5000 addresses from MailChimp into Sugar. So in scenarios like this should I set this to -1 ?
Thanks

In general, the default settings that are installed with the module is what you should use. When we acquired SugarChimp a few weeks ago, the previous owners had several options available to tweak. 99% of the time you will not need to adjust those.
The "Max Process Queue Scheduler Jobs" is how many jobs will attempt to be run each time the scheduler runs. SugarChimp maintains it's own queue of actions that need to be taken to keep Sugar and Mailchimp in sync. You can find the queue in Admin > SugarChimp Process Queue.
Syncing 5000 contacts may take several hours no matter what you set the value to. Increasing the value too high may result in too many system resources being used and the syncing script may fail.

Thanks. Just as you said, I left it for few hours and I can see the contacts have synced. There is just a mismatch of 200 names between Mailchimp and Sugar CRM (Target list). I am assuming this will also get synced soon

Ok good, glad to hear things are making progress.
If the 200 person mismatch does not resolve, one thing you may want to check is the SugarChimp Queue. You can get there by going to "Admin" then "SugarChimp Process Queue". See if there are any events with the Error status. There are reasons the contacts may not have synced that you can resolve.

The new version SugarChimp solves this issues, as we've discussed via email. Just cleaning up some cases. Thanks!
