#452 - SugarChimp is not working properly on our CRM
Hi,
SugarChimp is not working properly for us.
In your documentation on https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/docs/SugarChimp/user-guide
the screen shot of the individual campaign record looks like this:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/7vbvckp7wh5hdzp/Screenshot%202014-03-09%2015.26.59.png
But here is the screen shot of the individual campaign record in our CRM with SugarChimp installed.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/vrn2k4lq3sb7wjw/Screenshot%202014-03-09%2015.23.24.png
as you can see under messages sent, viewed messages, click thru link etc..there is no data being recorded in our CRM.
when I click on Admin > SugarChimp Process Queue there is no data on the following page. Here is a screenshot of how that page looks: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lrs37z3dgxn4nwe/Screenshot%202014-03-09%2015.56.49.png
Please help me to troubleshoot this.
Also please explain what this means
“When installing SugarChimp, your old Campaigns module will be renamed to SugarCampaigns and the new module will be named Campaigns. The same can be accessed from the modules tab menu.”
so I can see two tabs - campaign and mail chimp campaigns - which one should we use. At the moment we are only mailchimp campaigns tab. Under the default old campaigns tab there is no data
Thanks Kartik

On the campaign in your screenshot, has the campaign been sent? If it has and there should be activity data listed there, something is probably wrong with the syncing schedulers. I noticed in your Admin > SugarChimp Process Queue screenshot, the "Closed" status is selected in the search filter. Clear the filters and search again. Do you see other items listed now? Are there any with the status "Error" or "Processing"?
Regarding your last question, it no longer renames the Campaigns module to SugarCampaigns. That is old information and I removed it from the User Guide. If you want to view your Mailchimp campaigns in Sugar, you will want to go to the "Mailchimp Campaigns" module. If you want to view your regular Sugar campaigns module, it is still labeled "Campaigns".

Yes, the campaign has been sent. I see the campaign stats inside MailChimp but inside Sugar CRM the activity data is not listed. I cleared the search filter in Sugar chip process Queue. Here is the screen shot https://www.dropbox.com/s/j2mohl8nri4vtx5/Screenshot%202014-03-10%2009.27.53.png
I don't see any items listed.

If you aren't seeing anything in the list, something is wrong with the schedulers.
Are all the SugarChimp schedulers active? If you look at each of the Schedulers do they appear to have all run recently? Are there any errors in the sugarcrm.log or the php error log?

Are all the SugarChimp schedulers active?
- Yes
If you look at each of the Schedulers do they appear to have all run recently? - Yes
Are there any errors in the sugarcrm.log or the php error log? - where can I access this?
Just to be clear the main issue at the moment is the data related to Mailchimp campaigns is not visible in the CRM https://www.dropbox.com/s/8xwkgyv75zvojdg/Screenshot%202014-03-12%2021.42.32.png

In your screenshot I can see that the trackers were added which means the "Initiate Campaigns Update" scheduler was run properly.
The "Create For Each Campaign Update Jobs" should have then run which queues 5 jobs to the "SugarChimp Process Queue". Each of these jobs correspond to the following schedulers which should run:
"Process Update Of Sent Emails For Campaign" "Process Opened Emails and Unique Clicks For Campaign" "Process Update Of Soft Bounced Emails For Campaigns" "Process Update Of Hard Bounced Emails For Campaigns" "Process Update Of OptOut Emails For Campaigns"
I'm wondering if maybe you initially synced with the "Sync Campaigns Not Older Then" field set to a higher value (such as 60 days) which imported campaigns up to 60 days old. And now maybe you have the "Sync Campaigns Not Older Then" field set to something lower (such as 5 days). Because of this, the campaigns would exist in the system, but none of the activity information would be updated.
Is this possible?

Actually i went the other way round - initially I set "Sync Campaigns Not Older Then" field to 5 and now I increased it to 180. I increased it to check it will make any difference.

Sounds good. Let us know how it goes.

Unfortunately, the campaigns and the analytics are still not syncing :-( Is there anything that you can do about this?

That is really odd. Thank you for the feedback.
I'm going to follow up via email to setup a screenshare. I think it's the only way I'll be able to diagnose the issue.
Also, we're about to release the new version of SugarChimp for CE. It does not contain campaign syncing (because that is what's causing the most problems today), but it is built on a completely new engine for syncing the lists, which works a lot better. Campaign data will come later.

As discussed offline, the new version of SugarChimp solves these issues. Simple cleaning up some cases ;)
Thanks!
