#4550 - Mailing list sync
We have different newsletters that we'd like people to be able to select which they want to receive. The list syncs from SugarCRM. Is it possible to have some in Sugar that don't show up on the Mailchimp side? We have some now-defunct that we might bring back in the future due to changes in funding, but we don't want to list them publicly.

What a great question! It sounds like you're using groups (in Mailchimp) and a multi-select field (in Sugar) to manage these options, is that correct?
While Mailchimp does have options to not display groups, it is based on the entire field and not the individual options (as shown here: https://mailchimp.com/help/hide-groups-on-signup-forms/)
Other workarounds could be to change the label or add in additional text that indicates these newsletters aren't currently being sent but people are free to indicate their interest should they resume again in the future.
