#4622 - How to uninstall Sugarchinp
We are not using SugarChimpo anymore.
We uninstall the module in Our SugarCRM, but Sugarchinp DB is growing 5-10GB in 4 weeks.
How can we uninstall Sugarchinp and remove the Sugarchinp tables.
Thanks Adrian

Hi Adrian,
Happy to help. When you uninstall using the Module Loader, you can opt to remove SugarChimp tables which should remove those from your database. If this option wasn't selected, I recommend re-installing SugarChimp and then uninstalling it again, being sure to select the option to remove the tables. Do you still have the latest SugarChimp package that you can use to install/uninstall? If you don't, send us an email to mailchimp@fanaticallabs.com and I can send a link to the latest version for you to do this process.
Thanks, Heidi

Hi Heidi,
We re-installing SugarChimp then we: - Disable the SugarChimp - Uninstall SugarChimp - Tick remove SugarChimp tables
SugarChimp tables were NOT removed!

I'm so sorry this issue is occurring! We use the built-in Sugar functions for installation and uninstallation so I'm surprised this isn't working as expected. It looks like we may have gotten another email related to this issue for your instance. Can you confirm if you are still having trouble uninstalling? If so, do you have the latest version of SugarChimp to attempt to install and uninstall? Additionally, have you tried running a Quick Repair and Rebuild?
Thanks, Heidi

We still have the problem, now, the sugarchimp table is 28GB from 16GB in 2 months!
Cannot use another version as the licence is expired, the version we used is 10.1.4a (10/28/2020)
Yes, we did try Quick Repair and Rebuild.
Can you please send us the documentation to completely remove this manually?
Thanks, Adrian

Hi Adrian,
I'm sorry you've encountered this issue. Since we use Sugar's built-in Module Loader to install and uninstall, we don't have a way to manually remove directly. If the uninstallation process isn't working as expected, I recommend searching for "SugarChimp" and "SmartList" and you can safely remove any files with those names.
You can also reference the manifest.php file in the version you have for more details about the files and where they were installed.
Best, Heidi
