#4644 - SugarChimp table - multiple records for the same contact

I'm trying to debug slow SugarChimp performance following a sugar upgrade and noticed that there are a lot of records for the same Contact in the SugarChimp table. Is that normal? Will the contact be synchronised once per sunc regardless of how many records there are, or will there be a sync operation for every individual record?

    Happy to help. Yes, having records from the same contact in the SugarChimp table is normal as there may be different pieces of data being synced for that record. Can you tell me more about the slow SugarChimp performance you're experiencing?

    Thanks. The health status page never quite gets completed ... there are always items pending to/from MC.

    The schedular is running every 10mins, and is running as expected. Also the /#SugarChimp/layout/adminbatches page is fine ... there's the occasional error but generally ok.

    One thing to note is that our target list has 84,117 Total Entries, and there's quite a lot of activity -- maybe 500 changes a day

    i think what might be happening is that while the schedular is running there are changes that add items to the sugarchimp table and so as soon as the script finishes there are still more to sync, and so it never finishes

    That amount of changes shouldn't be an issue at all. I'm wondering if there are old items in the queue that could be cleared out. There are a couple of things we can check:

    1. Can you take a screenshot of the Health Status page and send it along to mailchimp@fanaticallabs.com?
    2. Let's check the queue to Mailchimp. It's possible records from previously syncing lists got stuck and aren't moving across to Mailchimp so it appears there's more in the queue than we would expect to move.  From your Health Status page, can you change /health-status to /admin and send a screenshot of the page (I don't need all of the entries, I'm just looking for the top 10 rows or so) to mailchimp@fanaticallabs.com?
