#4703 - Synchronize 1 CRM with several Mailchimp accounts or agency account?
Hello, One of our customers uses SugarChimp on their Mailchimp + Sugar Sell accounts. Now they would also like to centralize contact data from some of their "subsidiaries" who have their individual Mailchimp accounts.
Ticket 2847 says that 5 years ago that feature was not available. Is it still the case? If it's not available, would the Mailchimp "agency mode" work? In principle this is 1 "parent" account with sub accounts and separate contact lists.
We could try to segment the contacts based on a field, but I don't think Mailchimp can restrict access to a specific segment?
Thanks in advance for your advice, Damien

Hi Damien,
Happy to help. SugarChimp still works for just one Sugar instance connected to one Mailchimp instance. Mailchimp's agency setup allows someone access to multiple Mailchimp accounts, but they are still distinct accounts that SugarChimp isn't designed to accommodate.
What we typically recommend in a situation like this is instead of each subsidiary with its own account they instead have their own audience within one Mailchimp account. This allows them to keep their contacts separate from other subsidiaries while still using SugarChimp to sync data between the two platforms.
Let me know if you have any further questions or if they'd like to explore this option a bit more.
Best, Heidi
