#4765 - Installation failed but installation succeed ...

Hello support team, I'm facing a strange issue while installing SugarChimp to v13.0.2a for our customer CK. I launch the installation through the module loader, then at the end the installation is marked as failed, the package is at the bottom level of the module loader page. Nevertheless, the installation has succeded as the files are copied to the custom folder, and on the status page of SC I see that the version is set to 13.0.2a.

Here is the log I have in sugarcrm.log :

    Hi Enes,

    Thanks for reaching out. Just to confirm, it sounds like SugarChimp's Health Status page is correctly showing 13.0.2 is installed. Can you tell me if the top portion of the Module Loader also has SugarChimp 13.0.2 installed? After the failed installation, did you also run a Quick Repair and Rebuild?

    For the logs that indicate a field isn't being added because it's already been added, this is the expected behavior for installations where those fields were previously created.

    Are you observing any other issues, like data not syncing as it should?

    Hello Heidi,

    In the module loader SugarChimp appears as not installed, as the file is still on the bottom part. I also did a QRR, nothing changed. Also set the correct file rights.

    For the moment it is still installed in local and dev instance, we only have a prod instance that should be synchronized.

    Thanks for this insight and appreciate you mentioning you also checked permissions and ran q QRR. Can you send along (to mailchimp@fanaticallabs.com) a screenshot of the Health Status page? Additionally, let's put SugarChimp into debug, try the installation process again, and grab some logs (feel free to include in your email to mailchimp@fanaticallabs.com). I'm including the steps to this process below, but if you want to walk through it together feel free to schedule a call and I'm happy to assist.     Debug Instructions 1. From within Sugar Admin, navigate to the Health Status page. 2. Right-click anywhere on the page and select Inspect. Switch to the Console tab, and then paste:

    SUGAR.App.api.call('get',SUGAR.App.api.buildURL('SugarChimp/setting/logger/debug'),{},{});

    1. Navigate back to Module Loader and attempt to install again
    2. Navigate to the logs and copy/paste what appears in a .txt file
    3. When completed, you can return the logger level to normal by pasting the following into the Console tab:

    SUGAR.App.api.call('get',SUGAR.App.api.buildURL('SugarChimp/setting/logger/normal'),{},{});
