#700 - Upcoming feature
Do you know more exactly when this feature will be in place?
"In Summer 2014, an updated will be released that gives you more control over MailChimp campaign and subscriber activity data. Data will be stored and reportable from directly within Sugar."

Hi there, we're getting close. I hope to have something ready to go in the next couple weeks.
The MailChimp reports really are superior to Sugar on the campaign activity data. What are you hoping to get out of the activity data being available in Sugar?

Great!
If the data is within Sugar we could use it to build workflows defined by our business needs, KPI.

Makes perfect sense. Thanks!
I'll leave this case open until the new version with this feature is available for download.

I just wanted to make a quick note on this. We're in a testing phase now to make sure we're compatible with all of the version of Sugar that we support.
Here are a list of the features that will be included:
This is a big release and has taken a considerable amount of effort to do correctly. We can't wait to get this into everyone's hands! Soon!
Also, if you're not on the latest version of SugarChimp, there have been a couple features added in the past few weeks:
If you want to stay up-to-date on the progress of the new features, post a comment here so that you will be included on updates.
Thanks!

Please, let me know when the new feature is available, thanks!

Another great option would be to be able to set the inbound site for syncing separately from the SugarCRM url. This would be nice for local installations where the internal DNS name is separate from the external.

It should only take a split second to create this change - and the default for site_url_chimp could just be the site_url for the standard config.

Looking forward to this! Thanks for such a great product.

Hi everyone, I wanted to let you all know that we've just pushed out the new version 7.1.0 and new editions :)
There are now three editions of SugarChimp: Starter, Basic and Professional
Everyone is currently on the Basic edition. You can go to your orders page and download the new SugarChimp 7.1.0. The new 7.1.0 Basic includes the new MailChimp Campaign Summary dashlet and connector. This allows you to see your campaign summary reports from directly within Sugar. The MailChimp Subscriber Activity dashlet has been updated as well to show which specific MailChimp lists the Sugar Contact/Target/Lead is subscribed to. Both of these have been highly asked for features.
If you're needing to actually import activity data into Sugar so you can write reports, implement workflows and do other interesting things, the Professional edition is what you need. This has also been a highly requested feature since we rewrote the codebase earlier this year. It took a lot of development effort to get this right, make it scalable and to work within Sugar. If you're on SugarCRM Pro or above, we also include a sample report to show you one way to pull the data. Also, there is a new SugarChimpActivity module that contains all of the activity records from MailChimp campaigns.
Lastly, the new Starter edition only includes the Subscriber Activity Dashlet and does not include any syncing. It simply allows you to view subscriber activity data from within Sugar.
If Campaign Summary Reports from within Sugar is all you wanted, simply download the new 7.1.0 from your orders page. If you need the full activity sync, you can try it out by starting a new trial here: https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/addons/sugarchimp/pricing
I'm going to set this case to closed, but we can definitely continue any conversation here about the new features.
As always, definitely let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
