#834 - How to Change Settings for Import To Sugar from MailChimp
Hello,
I've gotten the new version of SugarChimp up and running and things have started to sync. However, it has imported lots of people from MailChimp into Sugar as Contacts (not leads and not putting them into a Target List). Also, it only pulls their email address (and uses it as first and last name) instead of the actual fields that correspond in MailChimp. How can I change this so that MailChimp brings those new subscribers over into Sugar as leads and imports all their contact information?
Thanks! LeAnna

Hi LeAnna, I'm still showing that you're running version 3.1.27 of SugarChimp. Are you sure you downloaded the latest version from this page: https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/members/Victoria/orders
You will want to make sure you completely uninstall SugarChimp before installing the new version.
The problem you're running into is an issue the old version of SugarChimp had.
Let me know if this helps. Thanks!

Hi - I'm confused - it says that I've loaded the new version of SugarChimp, but doesn't give me the option to download the old version: http://screencast.com/t/evFs69jDf

Hello Victoria,
In that screenshot you will want to click on "Install" in the lower section. The upper section lists what has been installed already. Down below you have 7.1.0 uploaded. Now it just needs to be installed and you should be all set then.

I tried that, but it has an error - suggestions? http://screencast.com/t/Dodaw7g7NsY

I tried re-downloading the package from www.sugaroutfitters.com/members/Victoria/orders and installing it, but it returned the same error

Sugar has a bug in it right now on 6.7.6. Make sure to download this file from SugarOutfitters:
SugarChimp-7.1.0-basic-for-Sugar6.zip
That should address the issue. If not, let me know and I'll send you over a different version.

I used that file and it worked - thanks! It is still saying that I am using SugarChimp Version: 3.1.27 though. This is what shows in the module loader: http://screencast.com/t/WvsV7I1gm But this is the health status: http://screencast.com/t/HI0MVpHRDy

I didn't catch that you had SugarChimp 3 installed still. This will/can cause conflicts with the new SugarChimp. I recommend uninstalling all of your SugarChimp installs by clicking on Uninstall in the top section. It may only allow you to uninstall the latest one first. Once all are uninstalled then install the latest SugarChimp that you just uploaded.
During uninstall it will prompt if you want to keep the tables and data. Yes, keep the tables and data.

When I tried to uninstall Sugar 3: Including: cache/upgrades/temp/pip38X/scripts/pre_uninstall.php Uninstall scripts activated. Never found 'server_target_list_name_c' in 'detailview' so we did nothing. It may have already been removed. Never found 'server_target_list_name_c' in 'editview' so we did nothing. It may have already been removed. Clearing necessary cache.
I disabled it, then tried again to uninstall and got the same error. Also tried in a different browser and tried logging out and back in. Each time I got the same error.

(Although it's still listed in the module loader, the module itself does not appear under the Admin section of Sugar anymore)

There is a chance that everything worked out and that we may need to work with SugarCRM support to get the old SugarChimp 3 removed from the module list.
For now, you should be able to install the latest version of SugarChimp and get that working. If there are any other issues would you be able to get together for a screen share early next week?

Hooray! Loading the latest version of SugarChimp worked. Should I ask SugarCRM support to remove the old version from the module list?

Great! Yes, if they can remove that old SugarChimp 3 version that would be great. It just needs to be removed from the list. It sounds like all the old files uninstalled correctly.
