I added it to custom modules, works on some of them, but not all. Waste of time. Yes they are text fields, yes I added them in the Admin setup. I can see the bars moving when I leave the field so Dupe Detector queries bu then it just allows me to continue

    Hello Websolprov, Duplicate Detector for SugarCRM works on any existing or custom field of type varchar, name or phone. For Edit view or quick createview you will have those field to enable that are exist in respected view. eg : name field is exist in Editview then it will allow you to enable or disable for duplicate in editview checking in Dupdetector settings. If you select Prevent Submit option, system will not allow user to save a record if duplicate match found.

      Fully understand how to implement thanks, the fields I want to enable do exist in EditView and have been added to the Dupe Detector configration by dragging from the left panel to the rigth panel and saving. I have 3 custom modules I want it to work on, have enabled all three but the system only shows dupes when entering text field data for one of the 3 modules.

    I have told you why this is not working, how is talking about this more going to help? It works on some but not all text fields on custom modules despite them all being setup the same way.
