#2782 - License problem

Closed Installation created by mattmiers 7 years ago

Hi, I recently had to reset my email and I am trying to get Implicit back up and running, but it is saying that the maximum number of licenses has been reached. We only have 3 people using (excellent plugin by the way) and I think that the confusion is it still thinks I am trying to use it twice. I'd like to know what I need to do to get it running again please.

Thanks, Matt

    Hi Matt,

You currently have 3 users activated: Admin, Amanda and John. Which one would you like to free up? (Then you'll be able to activate again)

    Thanks,

    Ronnie

Hello, We have had more trouble with outlook and I would like to request freeing up admin again. The good news is it has nothing to do with Implicits plugin and we think outlook is fixed now so it should be the last time.

    Thanks, Matt

    Hi Ronnie,

I had some issues with the plug in. I am trying to reset the configuration for the Admin user, but it's giving the too may users warning again. Can you please help out with this?

Also, we are having issues with the plugin syncing emails. It seems to work fine when syncing with SuiteCRM, but the emails/docs are not showing up in the implicit screens. Is this normal, or is there something that I could have set incorrectly on here?

    Thanks, Matt

    Hi Matt,

I removed admin's license. Should be ok now.

Please send some more details about your question regarding email archiving. What exactly is the scenario?

    Thanks

    Ronnie

Hi Ronnie, In opportunities- there is no related data showing up. It doesn't have any of the email items, or contacts associated with an opportunity. Also, no documents.

    Thanks Matt

    Hey Ronnie,

Also, I may be misunderstanding the way the plugin works, but I can't see things that other users sync in their plugin, and they can't see things that I sync. They all go into Suite fine, so we can see events in there, but I was hoping that I could see it inside the plug-in in outlook. Can you let me know if this is possible?

    Thanks, Matt

    Hi Matt,

On the issue of related data under opportunities – These lists will contain only those items that have been synced to Outlook. For example, they will contain activates (meetings & tasks) that have been synced between Outlook and Sugar or email / documents that have been archived from Outlook to Sugar. They may or may not correspond to the lists of related records that you see in Sugar, depending on whether or not they were synced/archived from Outlook.

What determines the scope of visibility of specific records in Sugar are the teams (or Security Groups in SuiteCRM) that they are assigned to. If you for example archive an email and set the team/group to Sales, the email will be visible to anyone on the sales team. These items will be visible in Outlook depending on your sync configuration. For example, opportunities created by other users and assigned to your team will be visible in Outlook. But emails archived by others will not be visible in your Outlook because we don’t download emails from Sugar back into Outlook.

Thanks Ronnie. I think that I understand, but I am not clear how to use the Suite Security groups as teams. Can you recommend any documents/videos that can help me through that?

    Thanks, Matt

Hi Ronnie, I cannot get my security groups to show up in the "teams" for the implicit pulgin. Is this functionality available?

    Thanks, Matt
