#297 - When entering my gmail id and password, message reports: Authentication with Google failed. Reason: BadAuthentication.
1.7 trial installed fine, when entering my gMail id and password, and click Validate - message reports: Authentication with Google failed. Reason: BadAuthentication. Does this only work with Google Apps accounts? I use gMail, docs and calendar through my Google id, but I don't have a paid Google apps service.

According to the provider, it will work if you do not have a Google Apps account. Here is their reply:
Yes, you do not need to have both a Google or Gmail account. Having only a Gmail account (whether personal or business) will work with SugarCRM. The Installation Guide has recently been updated with screenshots to assist in a smooth installation.

This has been merged by DataSync with https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/support/gmail-sync/185. They need to add a Redirect URI for the doc sync portion to work. The rest should still work as is.
