#1797 - Testing demo
Hello,
I have a reports module on suitecrm, it has a PDF option but the problem is for reports with more detail it becomes unreadable. I'd like to look at alternatives to this issue so i have been looking at your demo. I'm concerned that i wouldn't be able to create reports i need with this, for example i'd like to set my own fields and conditions from a module, a checklist and so far i can't seem to do this with the demo. Please advise.
Thank You!

Hi, sorry but I'm not sure of having well understood your request. With SugarPrint you can create reports with all the fields of a module you want (even if they are not displayed in the ListView). You can set the conditions applied to your report through the basic and advanced search interface of a ListView and even set the calculations and clusterings to be applied to the results. As you can see from the add-on video and description with SugarPrint you can do a lot more than this. If you can give me some examples of the results you want to obtain, I'll be glad to tell you whether or not SugarPrint can perform them and, if so, how. Best regards, Alberto

I'm having issues adding fields, and i would have reports that would require around 20 maybe more. Please advise. The issue i'm having with SuiteCRM and its reporting are when there is that many fields on a report created it become unreadable when converted to a PDF. I want to see on the demo that this won't be an issue. I can move around the fields you have listed but how can i add several. Thanks

Hi, you can add fields not shown in the ListView by going in the "Design" tab, clicking on "Get More fields" and then selecting the other module's fields to add. In addition, from the "Format" tab you can set the format of the PDF report (the default is A4); for your needs I'd suggest an A3 format or, if it's not enough, a custom one (you can set width an height). In the demo (http://sugar-project.com/spr12/) you can test these SugarPrint functionalities. There is another functionality not visible in the Demo: from the SugarPrint settings in Administration you can also set the font type and size (default is Helvetica 12). If you want you can write me privately (alberto@sugar-project.com) and I'll send you an example. Best regards, Alberto
