#4809 - Focus Dashboard- Sweet Hierarchy Not Working

Hello, please see steps to reproduce. 1. Navigate to the contacts module. 2. Select a contact that has a name in the LBL_REPORTS_TO field. Next to that field is a focus drawer. 3. Click on the focus drawer and Sweet Hierarchy should appear. What should happen: We should see the sweet hierarchy. What happens: We see no sweet hierarchy.

    Hi Joseph! Sweet Hierarchy is not added by default to your focus drawer. You need to add the Sweet Hierarchy Dashlet manually. By reproducing your steps and adding the Dashlet beforehand, I was able to see it. Please let me know if you need more help regarding this issue. Have a good day!

      Hi, appreciate the response. The Sweet Hierarchy dashlet was added already by us. It was working previously and now it is not. It works in contacts list view with the focus drawer, but not in the contact detail view with the focus drawer next to the “Reports To” field. Need more help regarding this issue. Have a good day!

    Hi Joseph, We took notice of your bug report and it is fixed now. We have updated Sweet Hierarchy to include the bug fix. Please install the newest version of Sweet Hierarchy.

    Hi Marian, we appreciate this fix. Two questions below:

    1. What are the steps to install the newest version of SH?
    2. Are you 100% certain that this install of the newest version will not erase or have a negative effect on the Sweet Hierarchy charts users have already created in the PROD instance? Some are very substantial.

      Hi Joseph,

      1. To install the newest version of Sweet Hierarchy you have to manually uninstall the current version from Module Loader (including deleting the package from your instance), then installing the newest version from the official page on Outfitters.
      2. Sweet Hierarchy does not create new data that your instance would be dependant on and the dashlets do not get deleted after you uninstall a package. The relationships between accounts and contacts are core features which are not affected by uninstalling Sweet Hierarchy. So you should be alright.

      Thank you for the explanation and forgive me for the additional question. So, if a user has created a sweet hierarchy with ten of their contacts, after completing the steps of uninstalling and reinstalling SH that sweet hierarchy will NOT disappear for that user, correct?

      If you are referring to the relationships between contacts, those should not be affected by the uninstalling of SH as SH does not modify data, it simply displays it as a chart.
