Offering Service Packages on SugarOutfitters

We just rolled out a way for you to offer consulting service packages on SugarOutfitters. Whether you want to offer a stand alone package for general consulting or just want to add a service option to your add-on listing, there is now a way to do that.

Adding a Consulting Service Plan

Adding your service plan to a listing is straight forward. Start by adding a new pricing plan as you normally would. The only change is to check the "Consulting Service Plan" checkbox:

Once you save the new plan this new message will appear above the file upload section:

Since no file uploads are required for a service package, it is important to reach out to the customer as soon as possible. To do that, we recommend automating an email to them by using our Webhooks API. By listening for the sale_new event you can start the next steps immediately. To help avoid any confusion, we also present them some information on what to expect next after purchasing the service package.

Adding a Consulting Service Listing

If you want to add a listing for your standalone service offering the process will be exactly the same as it is for add-ons. The only difference is in the Category that you will select.

1. Start your listing by adding it here. Be sure to review the Selling Documentation.
2. Once added, you will be redirected to continue building out your listing.
3. Go to the Details tab and scroll down to the Categories section.
4. Select the Consulting Services category.

Now continue building out your listing. Be sure to add your pricing plan(s) and check the Consulting Service Plan checkbox. It is important to have quality content. Include as much detail as you can along with supporting images and video. Video that includes members from your team will perform the best. Once finished, email us at support@sugaroutfitters.com.

What Is the Refund Policy?

The 30 day, money-back guarantee that we have had from the start is a big part of why many shop at SugarOutfitters. It alleviates their risk and allows them to see if a solution truly fits their needs. At the same time, consulting is completely different from off-the-shelf add-ons. To help alleviate that risk while being fair to you we have come up with the following policy. Services are 100% refundable as long as you have not provided the service to the customer yet and it is within the first 30 days. Upon a refund request we would work with you to determine eligibility. Anything outside of these boundaries will be work out directly with you.
