Usage
Addresses are very unique with their door numbers, building names and codes. Mistakes can easily happen when communicating with a customer.
Address Search connects to Google Places so that when you enter the postcode of an address into the Billing & Shipping address fields of an Account Record, it will display options to select. It also works through the Primary and Alternative Address fields in a Contact or Lead record.
Entering just half a UK postcode can begin to trigger larger suggestions in the menu.
Entering town names will build results from locations worldwide.
Instead of leaving the page to begin a Google search, you can type in venues or landmarks within your Sugar platform and find the address you need.
For accurate results, click the correct address and watch the fields fill automatically.
Google Places Subscription Required
A valid Google Places API Key is required for Address searches to be completed successfully. This may include an additional subscription cost. Please see Google API Documentation for more information on acquiring an API Key.
