Admin Guide
The Automated Exchange Rate Updater plugin uses SugarCRM's Scheduler feature to automate exchange rate updates. The Scheduler fetches exchange rates from the ECB at predefined intervals and updates all active currencies within the SugarCRM system.
Scheduler Configuration Steps
- Access the Scheduler
- Navigate to Admin -> Scheduler.
- Locate the Automated Exchange Rate Updater task in the list of scheduled jobs.
- Set Update Frequency Select the frequency at which the exchange rates should be updated. Common options include:
- Daily: Updates rates every day at a specific time.
- Weekly: Updates rates every week on a selected day.
- Custom: You can specify custom intervals based on your operational needs.
- Save Changes
- Once the desired frequency is selected, save the configuration.
- The Scheduler will now automatically run the exchange rate update task at the designated intervals.
