Which modules is the Hunter Email Verifier for Sugar compatible with?
This integration is compatible with Accounts, Contacts, Leads and Targets.
What are the main use cases for this integration?
- Data cleanse Often, the status of someone's email mailbox is a good indicator that this contact no longer works for that account. We then use this as an indicator to establish if we want to make this Contact, Lead or Target inactive.
- Data pruning If you've bought a Marketing Automation tool such as Mailchimp or Sugar Market, often these platforms are priced on the number of Contacts. By running the Hunter Email Verifier for Sugar on your data set, you could drastically reduce the number of Contacts that sync to your Marketing Automation tool.
- Domain and IP protection If you continually email addresses that are no longer active, your domain and IP could be blacklisted. We've seen it before where some of our customers struggle with email penetration and when we've diagnosed the issue the root cause was domain blacklisting originating from continual mail shots to inactive addresses.
- Improving user adoption Once the trust in the dataset is lost amongst users, poor user adoption can set in. The Hunter Email Verifier for Sugar is a small step to ensuring continual data audit and action.
- New Contact, Lead and Target Assessment Whether you import data from a trade show or your Contact Us form on your website is particularly busy, the Hunter Email Verifier for Sugar can automatically update the status of your newly created record using a SugarBPM Process Definition.
Do you have any tips for which Hunter Subscription to go for?
You'll likely want to cleanse your database first and then opt for a cheaper subscription plan to validate new Contacts/Leads/Targets moving forward. This two-part strategy is called: Cleanse + Maintain.
Let's say you have 8k Contacts, Leads and/or Targets in your Sugar and on average you typically add around 200 new contacts/month.
Cleanse
At the time of writing, we would advise purchasing the "Growth" plan for a month (which includes 10,000 email verifications).
Maintain
After your Cleanse is complete, opt for the "Starter" subscription plan, (which includes 1000 email verifications per month).
Hunter Pricing Plans Here
We recommend running the cleanse stage at least once/year.
When it comes to having multiple email addresses against a contact, which one does it validate?
This integration is designed to validate the primary email address of an Account, Contact, Lead or Target.
