#1635 - Uploading Zip file to Module loader in Sugar

Hi I am trying to upload the zip file as per the instructions but the file doesn't appear to be downloading in the required format. I have tried to compress it, upload from my desk top, save as a linked file... Could you please let me know what I am doing wrong or if the file needs to be in an alternative format. thank you. Kathy

    Hello Kathy,

    We will get you setup! Sugar modules must be uploaded as a .zip file. Our download is a .zip file, but some browsers have a setting that automatically unzips the file whenever you download it! My guess is that your browser is doing just this. The process SHOULD be really easy, just download a file, and upload that exact same file. First, just double check that you are downloading the correct Sugar6 or Sugar7 .zip file, and that it is saved on your machine as a .zip. Then, you should be able to get in Sugar and upload that exact same file, without any changes! Let me know if this helps at all. If you're still getting hung up, let me know and we can try some other routes!
