#3420 - Field mapping misses "Campaign Name" from Sugar
Hi All
I wanted to reach out because I recently installed SugarChimp and started the sync process. As far as I can evaluate, everything runs smoothly. But there is no option to sync the technical "Campaign Name" from Sugar to MailChimp even though the "Campaign ID" is available. From the data architecture of SugarCRM, both should be available since they are stored in the same "Campaigns" module on Sugar.
[Screen Shot 2017-11-15 at 10.56.40.png]
Unfortunately, this is a very sensitive information because we need to segment our mailings according to the "Campaign" whereby the leads initially came from. Is there any explanation for this? Is it bug-related or simply not available in the selectable list of mapping fields?
Thank you in advance!
Best regards Nicolas!

Hello Nicolas,
If I am understanding correctly, you are needing the Contact's related Campaign name based on the Campaign id field at the Contact level. As the integration currently works, we do not have that field available, but I've been able to do some quick tests and can see that we will be able to add that field to the mapping and get it syncing across for you.
It will take a couple days to get the package out with this fix on it, but I will update you as soon as the fix is available.
Let me know if there is anything else I can help with in the meantime. Thanks for reaching out and I will get back to you soon.
Best Regards, Jon

Hi Jon
Thanks for your quick feedback and help, I truly appreciate. Just to clarify, I would need it on the Contact's and Lead's level since it should be available in the Pro-Version. As far as I understand, this license supports all fields that are available in the same module. Since the campaign ID is available, my guess was that the connected campaign name should be available, too.
So, it seems your fix is truly satisfying as long it supports the sync on lead and contact level at the same time. Thanks again!

Hello Nicolas,
Glad to help. These relate fields where you can 'select' the related record are handled uniquely in Sugar which is why we didn't have it pulled by default. It will not be a problem to get it added to the mapping going forward.
I will get that update to you that includes the Campaign name field for Contacts as well as the Leads module. Let me know if I can help with anything else before that time.
Kind Regards, Jon

Hi Jon
Quick question before I'm trying out this package: Can I just load the package and install the new versions and the existing instance of SugarChimp will be overwritten? Or do I need to delicately uninstall and re-install the whole plugin?

Hello Nicolas,
You are correct on your console line of code which needs to update your webhook_add_to_list value. In regards to the new package, you simply need to install the latest version over the older one to update. No need to uninstall or disable the old version.
Let me know how it goes.
