Save Your Team Countless Hours. SugarChimp syncs your lists in both directions so you can work in your preferred app. Segment and group your Mailchimp subscribers based on Sugar data so you can market to the right people at the right time. Compatible with all versions and editions of Sell & Enterprise. Created by Fanatical Labs, 2023 SugarCRM Partner Award Winner.
The Basic version does indeed create new Leads in the CRM for you. In order for that to work, the Target Lists and MailChimp Lists must be connected and the webhooks from MailChimp must be able to reach your CRM servers.
Alright, do you know if the MailChimp Lists are connected to the CRM? If you go in the CRM to Admin > Health Status and scroll all the way to the bottom, do you see those MailChimp Lists?
Hi yes they are connected and can see those mail chimp lists it just will not create the lead, it's normally pretty good but having to manually sync to get the leads to be created is a bit of a pain.
I understand completely, that's a large part of our functionality! We are out at SugarCon this week but you can schedule a call with me first thing next week to take a look at it together and figure out what could be going on.
We just got off the call and found that the client is using an api form to bring new records into MailChimp. On our webhook, we did not have the 'via the api' checked, so those webhooks were not firing. Once we checked the box, the new record from the website was brought into the CRM correctly.
I'm going to close the case out now. Don't hesitate to let us know if you run into any issues down the road.

Are you not able to see those updates yet?
