Hi Scott, sorry for the slow response.
Any luck with getting SugarChimp installed?
What version/edition of Sugar are you using? Is it Sugar 6 or 7? Community Edition, Pro, Corporate? Do you host it yourselves or use Sugar's On-demand servers?
Usually when modules fail to install all the way it's due to file permission issues on the server. Are you sure all of the permissions setup correctly?
Here are a few links that might help:

Thanks!

Hi Chad
We're running version 6.5.11 but unsure of the edition. My best guess is Pro, but perhaps Corporate?
I've looked at the articles but they went over my head. Any suggestions on how best to proceed?

Got it, thanks. I'll reach out via email for now. It may be easier. Will follow up on the case once we're able to figure it all out. Thanks!

Hi info3, we've tested several different things on our side and the only way this can happen is if you have file permission issues. We have pinpointed the failure point to where it is creating directories and copying files. It is failing at the point of creating the connector or adding our fields to the layout. There's really nothing we can do on the SugarChimp side until permissions are properly setup. Have you looked at these links?

I have spoken with CRM online. They have confirmed permissions have been set up correctly. They would like to arrange a teleconfrence with teamviewer to discuss further.

Hi there, I received your email and will coordinate a time with you there. We'll leave this case open until we're able to resolve everything. Thanks!

I'm going to close this case for now. There was a conflict with Inbox25 being installed that may have caused the issue. Feel free to leave a new comment if the issue pops up again. Thanks!

This also happens in our attempt to install. Operating System: Linux Sugar Edition: Professional PHP Version: 5.3.3 Sugar Version: 6.5.16 Database Version: MySQL 5.1 Deployment Option: On-Site Web Server: Apache 2.2.x
We get to 47% and it claps out. If we refresh we get the same as above No $installdefs Defined In cache/upgrades/temp/.../manifest.php.
It is as though it writes a DIR and then cannot open it.
All our permissions are OK.
Please fix ASAP or we will seek our money back immediately.
Regards, info34

Thanks for the help Yaran.
@info34 The issues you are running into sound exactly like permission issues. Do you have other modules installed (such as Inbox25) that could be getting in the way? Are you seeing any errors in your sugarcrm log, the php error log or web server log? Thanks!
