#347 - Duplicate check is not initated when Duplicate button is pressed on DetailView
- Create a record
- Access the record in detailview
- Press duplicate
- Press Save Result: I have two records with the same Form ID (this is the field I specified to check for duplicates). I know I did it correctly because I see the bars running when I do click to another field instead of running through the steps above.

I've moved the support case to the Duplicate Detector add-on so that you can get the help you need.

Hello,
When you configure duplicate checks for fields from Admin > Dupdetector Configuration, you have an option to Prevent Submit. Please make sure you choose that option to make system prevent save the duplicate record.
Thank you, Team Urdhva.

I have ensured that it is clicked the Prevent Submit checkbox - also tried to unclick save and click again, but no check is done. Thanks.

Hello,
Admin > Dupdetector Configuration > Prevent Submit Checked.
Duplicate a record, leave the field which is marked for duplicate check, and that will show you there is a conflict, and then it should not allow you to save the record until conflict is resolved.
If that doesn't work, I'd suggest you to contact us on Skype - urdhvatech - and we would best help you.
Thanks, Team Urdhva.
