#3328 - Unknown Error applying filter template to roles
I've just created a new filter template but get unknown error when I try to assign this to a role. It assigns ok to users but just shows the attached error.
I'm using Sugar 7.9.1.0

Hello Chris.
Thanks for the trial and sorry about the issue here. I think I know what is causing it on 7.9. I'll look into it and get an update to you either today or tomorrow.

Hello Chris,
I have uploaded a new package that you can download under your purchases. Please install this as you did the original. In my testing this solved the problem but please let me know if it does for you.
THank you

Thanks for the quick turnaround, that appears to have worked but when allocating it to a role, the name of the role on the filter template under Deployed to User isn't accurate so it's not easy to see which role the filter template has been assigned to.

Hello Chris.
You are correct when deploying to a role or team the backend just looks up the users in that role or team and deploys to them. Are you saying it would help if there were some indicator showing if the deployment was based on a role? So perhaps of just the user name whether that deployment was part of a role or team would be useful?
Let me know I think that would be an easy enough feature to add. The specific role or team may be tricky because we allow selection of multiple roles/teams for deployment and users can be a part of multiple of those.
Thanks again

Hi, yes, exactly that. Some form of indicator about how the deployment was done would be useful. It works which is the main thing :)
