#2631 - Syncing content from other accounts.

Closed Bug? created by greg1 8 years ago

I'm not sure this is a SugarOutfitters issue but I just got RT GSync working with SuiteCRM and it is working so well that contacts, meetings, etc from my other google account are syncing too. If I login to google apps and go to my contacts I only have a handful as it is a new setup. There is an "Other Contacts" list that looks like it is listing the contacts from another google account. If anyone knows how to separate the two, please share. It just filled my CRM with all my personal contacts and meetings.

Thanks in advance,

Greg

Never mind. I solved it. It was the "Auto Create" feature in gmail where it create a contact for everyone you send an email to. Be sure to disable it before enabling sync.

I found the problem and fixed it. You may want to add a warning to the docs regarding Google default setting to create new contacts for every email you send from that account. My account only has 12 contacts and 121 were synced.

      Thanks for all your help.

      Greg.
