#388 - Email Sync Questions
I have installed one test account to see how it works. The Calendar works great. Our confusion starts with the Email sync ( which is what we are interested in ). Our company uses Google Apps and all of our salespeople would be syncing relevant emails to Sugar. When I tested the email sync setup it seems to want to sync every email in my Gmail account ( 124,000 emails and counting ). Many of our sales people have been syncing email into our CRM for years and have tons of historical email. We are not interested all of our Gmail account syncing into Sugar. Only emails moving forward after the date of installation, and only emails related to Sugar Contacts. Is this possible with your tool.

Hi,
In simple and straight forward our plugin does not support this feature. But you can configure in such a way that you can achieve this type of functionality.
First go to Gmail , create folder/label named as 'SugarCRM related' or whatever you want. Apply filter which type of emails should go in this folder(Gmail allows emails filter and email will go automatically in this folder) or you can drag and drop emails to this folder but former is better. Then go to SugarCRM and update inbound email configuration settings. Update monitored folders , remove all other folders[inbox,sent] from monitored folders section and select newly created folder. And then save your settings.
