#4239 - New user not syncing
Hi,
We've installed the module, entered the license and activated a user. We've granted access to RT-Gsync on the user's Gmail account. But still the user's calendar is not syncing.
Can you please advise?

Hi,
Syncing and archiving are two different concepts. Syncing emails to Sugar is the default feature within the CRM even if you are not using RT GSync. RT GSync automatically links (archives) the emails you receive with the corresponding contacts/leads so you can view your email history with a certain contact/lead in the emails sub-panel in the record view.
Please note email archiving comes out of the box in Sugar version 7.10 and above. For versions below 7.10, you can use RT GSync for email archiving.
Hope this helps!

Hi again,
I'm sorry but i've not understood how I can automatically access in the contact/lead history the emails received/sent from Gmail. We're cworking on a cloud version (9.1). Is there something I have to do?

Hi,
You need to set up SMTP to send/receive emails from within Sugar. You can use this link to help you with email syncing. Once you're able to configure this, GSync will archive and link the emails to the relevant records.
Hope this helps!
