#1530 - GeoCode Not Updating
I installed the RT Sales Map for our instance of Sugar (version 7.5.2.3) earlier today and created the Scheduler Job as well. The job has been running and shows a series of successful runs (status=done) over the past few hours, however, the number of non-geo coded contacts and accounts is still the same as the total contacts and accounts. I understand that it will only do 1,000 per day; so it is going to take quite some time to cycle through the 33,688 records that we have. Hi Eric,
There are 2 possibilities in your case that may be causing this problem. 1. There is no address in the records that are supposed to be geo-coded. 2. The addresses in the records are invalid, i,e, the addresses do not exist. Kindly re-check the above 2 points and let us know if you still face the issue.

There are addresses in all of our account records, perhaps some contacts do not have addresses. As of this morning the count has gone down indicating that some are being geo-coded. Is there any way to make this process go faster? As mentioned previously, we have over 33,000 records to geo-code and the trial of the product only lasts 30 days. At 1,000 per day we will not be able to try out the functionality of the maps will our full database geo-coded before the trial period is over. Thanks for your help.

Hi Eric,
This is currently a limitation that per day only 1000 records will be geo-coded. For you We can do this that if you really want to use this plugin for the next 30 days then We can extend your Trial when your Trial would be near to be expired. Till then you can test your geo coded data for the daily basis.

Thank you for your reply. I have a concern that something is not working properly as the job has cycled through a few thousand records at this point, yet I do not see anything being displayed on a map. I have attached a link to a screen shot of the map page and I am using a radius of 2,000 miles within our office address. All of our accounts are in the United States, so there should be some on the map as it has processed almost 1,500 account geo codes. There are not any data points on the map. Any ideas?

Hi ewikander,
As you can see in the screen shot , there is no filter applied on the Accounts, Contacts or Leads which brings the pins to be shown on the map. Please follow the steps to create a filter: * Ceate a filter for * Select a module e.g. Accounts * Select a field * Apply filter Now you will be able to see the pins on that map according to the filter.
Note : The Radius funtionality only draws a circle around a specific point, it does not display the pins on the map.

We have tried that without the radius. See attached links - I have created a filter for Accounts starting with the word "United" and have a screen shot of an account that has a latitude and longitude value that starts with United. I believe the geo-coding is working, but for some reason the data is not being displayed on the map. I should see at least this one account on the map.

Thank you for your help thus far. I do have 3 follow up questions.
1 - Is there a way to re-focus the map? When the page loads it always loads with Europe displayed - all of our customers/accounts, etc. are in the United States. Can we default the map to focus on the United States? Even after a criteria is entered and the Load Map button is pressed, Europe is displayed and the user has to scroll to the left to see the data points in the US.
2 - It seems a little odd that after creating and saving a filter, it must be expanded/opened in order to load the map based on this criteria. See below link - this returns data points when the criteria is expanded. Does it always have to be expanded to work? http://puu.sh/jRFj3/896a3cb765.jpg
3 - When selecting criteria and choosing Accounts->Total Assets->Greater Than there is not a field that displays to enter a value. Hi, 1. It is or default functionality that whenever the map is loaded its focus is on Europe. however, if you are interested, we can make customization according to your requirement. 2. Thank you for your help on customizing the map to focus on the United States. I have another question now, it does not appear that the List View of the records returned on the map shows. I have verified that there is a List View defined in StudioLayouts. Is this functionality available? Sugar currently displays “List View Help” and then when you click on that link referring to the RT SalesMap documentation a 403 error is received.

We have also replied you via email.
Currently there is no List View related feature available. Map View is actually the default view. We are not using any list view functionality.
Also regarding List View Help related section. In our next release We are going to remove this dashlet so you can ignore this section for the time being.

We have released the RT Sales Map to our Sales Team and are having problems. I am hoping you can help me fix the issues. The map only displays for users that are listed as System Admins. Any other user is not able to see the map - it just says "loading". See screen shot 1 below.

Hi ewikander ,
In RT SalesMap module, you have applied filter for Accounts module, do the Sales user have access to Accounts module in SugarCRM? If not, please set Sales user permissions in Sugar for Accounts module so that they should have access and the data from Accounts module can be fetched.

Yes, the sales user group has permission to the Account module in SugarCRM. We have renamed that module "Financial Institutions" as you will see on the screen shot. Is there something specific that needs to be changed in order to get the map to work for this group? It has to be permission based as our System Admin users can use the map perfectly.

1- Please provide admin user access for any User
2- Please provide instance front end access with user credentials who is unable to see loaded Map.

We have looked into your instance.
RT SalesMap also fetch data from Leads module, after investigating into your instance, we have found that you have disabled access to Leads for Sales User as shown in below screen shot. If you enable it, then sales user can also use RT SalesMap functionality as we have verified.

Hi Rolustech Support - one more question for you as our users are starting to use this plugin. How can we build the filter to contain multiple states? Please see attached screen shot where I am trying to pull accounts in IL and WI where loans are more than 600 per year. The way the program appears to work is using AND to build the filter - I would like to be able to select multiple states - for example instead of the "Exactly Matches" criteria have it say "Is One Of" and then be able to list the states. Can you change this restriction?

Hi Ewikander,
Yes this is possible and We need to do customization for you for this.
"Is One Of" is used when the field is "enum" type. But Billing State appears to be a "varchar" field. We can customize this for "Billing State" field, but in that case you have to tell us the list of fixed exact values that can come in Billing State field so that it should behave as enum here.
Please see following screen shot, you have to provide values, and only those values will be available to apply search and it will behave like enum fields for example "Industry" field in Accounts.
Also, if you want to apply any other change for any other field other than Billing State, then please let us know.
