#4359 - Manually Upload Geo-Coded Addresses

Hello -

We have too many geocodes to efficiently wait for the system to apply; nearly 750K contacts, leads, and accounts. We have these records geo-coded already. I see that the installation creates the fields maps_lat, maps_long, & non_geo_coded_address in the system. How do I need to configure these fields so that it accepts my geocodes that have happened offline and does not try and re-process all of these records until a new record is created or an address field in an existing record is updated?

    Hi, thanks for sharing your query.

    Can you please put a limit on the Google API so that your budget doesn't exceed.

    Also, you can import geocodes, and if you do you would not be geocoded again until an address is updated.

    Thank you for your reply. I've tried uploading lat and long values, but even with those in place, it seems that geocoding continues. Might it require some kind of entry into the non_geo_coded_address field? If I upload my own lat and long values, what needs to be filled into the non_geo_coded_address field in order to prevent automated geocoding via the Google API?
