#606 - Leads/contacts/accounts not geo mapping + do not see my custom dropdown/multiselect fileds in settings

Hi

Version: 7.2 sugarondemand

As per my conversation with one of your developer before i subscribed, I've been assured that I'll be able to see custom dropdown/multiselect fields from accounts/leads/contacts in settings of salesmap. That is not the case. Please advise a solution to this issue.

Leads/contacts/accounts are not getting Geo coded. From what i understood, it's because of shared IP of sugarondemand it might be a problem. Please provide specific instructions on how i should do it,

    Hi Kenny,

    Custom dropdown/multiselect fields in settings of sales map is not yet available in Sugar 7 release. But it will be available in next free of cost update.

    For geo coding the records, please check if you have run the scheduler. If still the leads, contacts and accounts does not get geo coded we'll have to debug this issue.

    Thank you for quick answer,

    1-But I find this situation very frustrating. Before I even tried the salesmap software,(in order to avoid a situation like now) I spoke to one of your head developer named Imad Ali and explained my requirements, He assured me that my custom dropdown/multiselect would work as filters out of the box on present version. That is the only reason I presented this product to my client, as this was #1 requirement for her. Now I, in turn, relayed this information to my client, who is now expecting this to work, by launch date next week....

    Is this how your company conducts business? You seem to have multiple addons that can be interesting for a company like us, and even spoke to Imad Ali for some further paid customizations we need, but if we are to expect to receive these kind of false/misleading information, I would be worried on investing my time and my client's money with your company.

    Please discuss it with Imad Ali, and let me know asap a resolution to this issue.

    2- I will run scheduler now , I did not know about that, it was not included in instructions provided with download. Will let you know if any issue once geo codding is done.

    Hi Kenny, We have fixed the Calendar issue and are looking into other issues as well. Hopefully they will be wrapped up in a day or two.

    Hi Kenny,

    Kindly review our remarks against rest of the items...

    1- Contacts and Accounts not showing up on the map regardless of filters Rolustech Feedback->> There are just 3 contacts and their latitude and longitude values already exist so they will not be shown. We created a test contact with different address and its shown on the map. For accounts, there are around 496 accounts that does not contain the filter values i.e Type and Industry field are empty. This is the reason why accounts are not shown.

    2- My Calendar not working, or partially working (confirmed by Sugar CS that salesmap is issue) Rolustech Feedback->> This issue is resolved - Package is sent to you in email.

    3- When inputting an address/zip code and radius, and records are found, map does not focus on address specified (zooms out completely) Rolustech Feedback->> We are in the process of investigating a solution. Will update you soon.
