#266 - 2.70 Update does not fix "Reminders" bug...

Closed Bug? created by mrlaw10 11 years ago
It was out understanding that the 2.70 update would address 2 things we had concerns about: 1) "Reminders" had a bug in that when you added a reminder, the date was alway set at the day BEFORE your selection and was therefore not correct, & 2) an increase to the "clickable area" of menu items. We applied the 2.70 update and neither of these problems are resolved. Let me gve you examples: 1) Reminders - Pick any date to add a reminder to an item. In the upper-left of your left column navigation area the date is displayed correctly but the date in the "Reminders" section at the bottom of the left nav is still one day prior to your actual selection. Now, refresh the page, and BOTH areas for the date are one day prior. If you refresh the page, then BOTH the top and bottom instances of the Reminder will be wrong...very confusing to our users. So confusing that they do not USE Reminders, although we'd like them to: 2) Here's the problem with "clickable area"...click on "More" on the top-nav so that you get a drop-down of modules. Hover your mouse over ANY of the modules and see that when your mouse is hovering in the highlighted area of a module, your cursor turns into a pointer, indicating that the area is "clickable", but unless the mouse pointer is DIRECTLY OVER THE WORDS, then the user clicks and clicks and clicks and gets very frustrated because it's not working. If the highlighted area is NOT to be clickable, then your cursor should not indicate with a "pointing finger" that the area is clickable. You should make the entire highlighted block clickable, especially because the cursor turns to a pointer in the entire highlighted area of the block, indicating that it SHOULD be clickable (but, of course, is not)
