#1625 - Bug?
When I open ANY of the templates supplied I get the following error in Word
The file <file name> cannot be opened because there are problems with the contents. Details: The file is corrupted and cannot be opened
When I click OK I get the following message
Word found unreadable content in <file name> Do you want to recover the contents of this document? If you trust the source of this document, click Yes.
Windows 7 64bit Word 14.0.7152.5000 (64 bit) MailMergeReports-Premium-v2.5.5-Sugar_6.5-7.6 SugarCRM 6.5.16 Build 1082
Is this a bug or is there something wrong with my installation/download?

Hi there,
If the supplied templates (Opportunities module) do not work, it seems a problem with your installation, maybe there is a permission problem. Please, open the navigator development tool (Ctrl+Shift+I) and review the errors.

The templates work, it's when I try and open the underlying template in Word to view the code that the error occurs, opening the Devel tool won't allow me to see the problem with the Word document?

Hi,
Your problem is strange, we have the same Word 14 (Word 2010) 64 bit under Windows 7 64 bit and the templates work and also we can open the templates. We need more information: please, send us by email a screenshot where we can see the problem, also please, send us at least one template that you cannot open.

Sorry, confusion. The documents work, it's just that I get the error messages outline above. If I select recover the documents, they open. I would like to know WHY the errors to start with...

Hi Rob,
Did you test running SUGAR CRM from other client computer? And, please, Could you create a NEW template? In order to test if the problem occurs also with this new template or It is only a problem with ALL the templates supplied .....

Hey Anabel, you're correct the error message ONLY displays when opening the supplied templates. As I said earlier, this DOESN'T stop the templates from working, it's just a bit disconcerting to receive an error message as soon as you test any of your supplied templates

Hi Rob,
ok... as I said before please try to create a new template, if the problem occurs only with the templates supplied maybe you have to reinstall in order to avoid the error, sorry but we don't know how to help in this case.....
