#2166 - Template for Quotes: order of products' lines in table and Groups of products
Dear support, I have two questions regarding templates for quotes: 1) I have noticed that the order of the products' lines in the table is not maintained. Is there a way to keep the same order in which they appear in Sugar? 2) A quote can be subdivided in one or more products' groups. Is there a way to reproduce those groups in the template? Many thanks, Regards Rossella

Hi Rossella,
Sorry for the delay in answering you.
You must use calculated fields to establish the order that you need. See examples in 'custom/modules/Opportunities/DHA_DocumentTemplatesCalculatedFields.php'”
MMR module can only manage two levels of data, not more
You can send us your template if you need more help. And tell us what is the Sugar version that you use and the MMR version also.

Dear Anabel, I have uploaded the template here. I will look at the example you mentioned to see how to sort rows. Thanks, Rossella

Hi Anabel, yes I was able to sort rows using Calculated Fields. But I cannot figure out how to manage Groups of products. (what I'd like to achieve is reported here.) Do you have any suggestion? Best regards Rossella

Hi Rossella,
MMR does not permit to have three levels as you want: bugget, products group an lines of products.
We are not sure about it.... It seems to be complicated but maybe possible.
Maybe, you can use calculated fields to define the data of a group into the product lines, and then, to try to group them using a TinyButStrong property http://www.tinybutstrong.com/examples.php?e=grouping&m=template.
Sorry, but this case is not included under normal support. If you want we can prepare a economic proposal.

Anabel
